Notice of Temporary Closure Due to Mandatory Electrical Inspection
Thank you for your continued patronage of Cross Hotel Kyoto. Please be advised that the hotel will undergo its annual electrical inspection, as required by Japanese law, on Monday, January 18, 2027. Due to this, we will experience an interruption in our power supply during the following hours. Additionally, as the emergency alarm system and elevators will also be out of service, guests will not be permitted to remain in the hotel during the power outage for safety reasons. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation. 1.Monday, January 18, 2027. 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m ＊No entry to the hotel premises will be permitted during this time. 2.For guests checking in on January 18, 2027 Check-in time : 5:00p.m. For guests with consecutive stays, we kindly ask you to leave the hotel before the power outage starts, after unplugging all electrical devices. During this time, all electrical facilities in the hotel, including guest rooms, elevators, and emergency alarms, will not be operational. Please also refrain from using the refrigerator during the outage period. As housekeeping services cannot be conducted during the power outage, only limited services -such as towel replacement and waste collection- will be provided. Please note that bed making and bathroom cleaning will not be available on this date. When using water for the first time after power is restored, please be advised that air in the pipes may cause water to splash.
